This illustration is inspired by the #SCBWIDrawThis drawing prompt “Pantone Color of the Year, Peach Fuzz”. In my research of this color, I discovered that it was associated with terms like “nurturing”, “empathy”, “compassion” and “a need for community, gathering and connection”. What better way to show “empathy” and “community” than to go to the Buddy Bench to make a new friend?
